Ryan update: so, he's been here for two weeks full time and is making some really amazing gains. He's going crazy with signs realizing that they mean something and if he does the sign he gets what he wants....plus, he's starting to talk....though a lot of it can't be understood yet, the tone of it sounds like sentences. He LOVES being outside....playing with the wagon, the car, the construction toys, skateboard or trying to keep up with the bigger kids (aside from babies, he's the youngest on the block!). He prefers to be warm and bundled up, he sleeps really well especially under his fleece elephant blanket. He likes to be held and gives the best hugs and kisses....chasing his brother around trying to kiss him all day! He likes a bubble bath, especially the ones that we blow bubbles in and he pops. He tries to do everything I do, including crocheting. Currently (by request of his brother) I am making them both Angry Bird pig hats. And Ryan loves to sit on my lap and watch as I make his....he's always a willing model when I need to check for size (pictures to follow)...he seems to be a daredevil.....always trying what the big kids are trying and boy, does he love himself some Kraft Dinner.....currently, his favourite foods are KD, grapes, rice krispies, pasta with meat sauce (packed with veggies) and green peppers......oh, and motorcycles (this kid is going to break my heart!)
