More night time fun

From after dinner until the kids need a bath or go to bed can sometimes drag.  When it was light out, it was awesome just throwing on shoes and running outside but since winter is on it's way, the pull to go outdoors doesn't seem to be there.....though I don't want the boys to watch TV all night....I figure there will be lots of time for that when it gets really really cold and we can't go tobogganing....so, I take the 10 minutes to dress us all up, load into the wagon and head to the park.  I love going to the park because it helps the boys work on their gross motor skills and I believe that if you want your kids to be active, you have to lead by example....plus, I remember my parents bundling us up after dinner and sending us out to play and I loved it( my parents are awesome)! Sooooooo, long story longer.....we headed out for some park fun and got so carried away we didn't notice how late is was getting!

Ryan and I walked to pick Adrien up from school with the wagon today.....neither boy was ready to come in when we got home so we stayed out and played.....and had a whale of a time!

Night walks

The last week, after dinner, I have been bundling up the boys and we have headed out for walks in the community to look at Christmas lights and get some fresh air.  I find the night walks knocks the boys out and they sleep hard.  Last night was no exception......except we went to the park.....in snowsuits!
